Definitely stock up on the basics of survival first, then precious metals if you can.
Silver and gold are just handy ways to keep your wealth away from the gov’t/inflation, and for bartering purposes after the smoke clears when the SHTF.

no one buys gold at 1150 u.s ive got ounnces of gold and kilos of silver the price is fake you would fortunate to get 60 percent of what ever inflated price is put on it, I can pull 3 to 10 grams plus straight out my back yard Australia has bulk. You can’t eat gold. It doesn’t keep you warm and it’s much more expensive compared to silver.
Buy food, water, guns, farmland… things that will give you food, drink and warmth, especially if you live in the northern states.
@EATDEERB222 The price isnt inflated, 1150 an ounce is for 24 karat gold, which is relatively rare which is why you cant get that. Not to mention if you’re scrapping it the person you’re scrapping it to is going to take it to a refinery and they need to make money too. That’s why you’re not getting 1150.

@marieatthelake Actually, you can eat gold, so to speak, because God created precious metals for exactly that reason. To barter for things you need to survive. Fiat currencies are worthless but precious metals are 100% real money that God created and mentions in Genesis chapter 2. They were created for that purpose from the beginning.
