There are thousands of other brand bars and coins on apmex. How can you jump to the conclusion they are running out?
@SevereTstormFan Just putting it out. APMEX does not make eagles BTW, maybe they are having a hard time getting raw stock? I dunno, but this could be big, or not.
@pdlumina: APMEX doesn’t make eagles because its a government coin and only the government is allowed to mint them. It would be illegal for APMEX to make them and they would be in a lot of trouble for doing so. Therefore the fact APMEX does not make eagles says nothing about silver supply.
Eh they do this all the time man. No need to get alarmed. They usually will restock in about a week. If you see no signs of this and you just see sold out signs everywhere, that’s when you’ll know something’s going on.
Not to worry. They’ll just print all the silver that people are trying to buy, and if they don’t like perfectly good paper silver then they can always settle with cash!

Shortage is coming.
you can type in 9999 on most coins there is no problem some say 3985 and so on but that is in no way a shortage and this only one supplier.
Also mining production cost per ounce of silver is a mere $1.5 so why on average do mining company’s produce silver so cheap if its rare?
When mining costs go up the price of silver will follow there is no other fundamental to follow.
I think they have more than they let on. I still think that’s a good sign though. They seem to want to limit their sales now…which I assume indicates that they feel they can sell it for more in the future as prices rise. If they felt silver was at a peak now, I bet there would be plenty available on their site.
Just wait till the rest of the world starts buying silver. Looks like the Euro will be in question very soon

i just put 2222 ounces of silver in my cart at apmex….sure looks like i could buy them! well, at least they could take my money…but im broke, so i canceled. no problems found.

@pdlumina here’s a theory: what if the intention long-term for gold is to use it as money because it’s not all used up and the intention with silver is not to bother because there isn’t enough of it left? With a ratio worse than 50 to 1 present-day, it would be like expecting everyone to use $1 bills or coins when the bankers want to use 50′s and have them and want to just ignore anyone who considers the $1 to be the best in the world. It’s a battle of wills and populace on that front.
@Danster82 mining costs are above, not below, the price of sale, have been for many years. They have no choice, the “market” (JPMorgan) controls the price. But silver often is found with other metals so most mines look for something else and pull silver out as a bonus.
@ytgv3fc7 But mining cost are not above, you can easily get your hands on mining production costs via their investment sections of their websites they range from about $1-5 per ounce.
But still please let me know of your source so I can check it out.

Making what personal? IT IS REAL. I deal with a AAA better business bureau company. I researched the company greatly. The product is fantastic. And its a company that’s endorsed by alot of people who I respect their opnion. Pissy? Pleeeeese….
I can confirm what he is saying in this video is true. APMEX was very, very low on silver bars two days ago – especially the 100 ounce bars. They had ONE of each listed item. In fact, if you check out select GOLD items, you will find the same problem. The 3.5 ounce gold poured bars for instance, “4 in stock”. And today, all out.
Nice Vids man. Uncle Steve’s tip. Make sure you have some silver in your bugout bags. Also have some trash cash too. Final Tip…have some bag balm….the stuff can keep you from getting an infection if you’re wounded or badly scratched.
