The United States is like a strong painkiller. They don’t actually help fix the problem, they just show up and “dumb you down” to their level so you feel a tiny bit better about the catastrophe. Then, shortly after that they always leave you in a worse condition then you were before.
The USA only helps when they have their own agenda to satisfy. In this case it is a pathetic pandering to the world that they do more than slaughter people with their mighty armies.
